Resident evil 4 in progressive mode (ps2)

when i DONT USE a component cable when i play re4, the default picture is 480i, right. Now, at 480i, i can either select 50Hz or 60Hz. i know that these Hz’s in interlaced mode represent “fields” so 50Hz will be actually 25 frames and 60Hz will be 30 frames. so if set the game in progressive (with triangle and X) and THEN also set to 60Hz, will this then become a picture of 480p at 60 FRAMES instead of fields because its progressive? Please take your time on this, i just wanna know.

if you have progressive mode TV then you choose progressive mode and follow the instructions and use your TV’s Info, like if your TV is 480i then thats what you setup…nevermind its kinda complicated RE4 is the best though
