what’s the difference between a photo montage, mosaic, or collage?

I want to be able to take 30-50 picture and stitch them all together (equal size, no overlap). Any suggestions?
What software do you recommend for making a montage?

A photo montage is a photo essay. Originally, photos were cut up and pieced together to make a story. Sometimes the artist/photographer would take another photo in order to display the cut up photos as a whole. Of course today we can do this quickly and easily using digital cameras and software. A mosaic is generally made up of small pieces of tile, glass or other objects. Once the pieces are placed in a pleasing design, that can also be a story, grout is smeared into the places between pieces in order to get that sensation it is one, whole unit. A collage may consist of a variety of items from newspaper and book clippings to photographs and other found objects that are glued together to form a whole. All three methods thus have one goal: to create a unified image that conveys a message.

How do I put together a photograph montage in a word document?

I have a whole bunch of pics and I want to make them assorted sizes and over-lap some and just create a nice A4 collage of images. I’m working with the new version of Microsoft word and I can change colours and put some images to ‘back’ but I can’t put them exactly where I want them – they just jump back and realign themselves. Does anyone know what I can do about this?

Try putting them inside Text Boxes, then you can move the box around with the picture in it – you can add borders and fill effects, too.

Where to find a vintage butterfly music box?

When I was a toddler I accidentally broke a music box of my mother’s. It was cheaply made with a plastic Picture Frame shape surrounding an oval mirror. It had flowers on the mirror and a little butterfly that when the box was wound, moved around the edge of the mirror as th music played.
The box was very dear to my mother and although I was a toddler when I broke it, I want very much to replace it for her now. Can somebody please tell me where to find one?

where’s a good place to order frame molding online?

I’m a photographer looking to start framing my own art to sell. I’m trying to make this a simple as I possibly can (which I know it isn’t) so I can get a good start on it. Does anyone have good advice or material resources? I especially need to know the easiest way to get glass (non-reflective preferably), and frame moldings.

Go to a home improvement store. You will find everything you need. They have the tools, glass, wood, clamps, glue, etc..

i have noticed a green like mould covering the back of a 20×20 Photo Frame and also covering a pair of shoes i had in a inbuilt wardrobe…i havent noticed it any where else….is this something caused by me or from the building???should i contact the owners?

but you should make sure your not the cause because
it would be a humiliation if it turned out you had made it
then the owners would chortel and you would seem a fool
